ReadySet Family Travel ("we," "us," "our") develops the ReadySet Pack! mobile app.

What this policy covers

How we handle information in the app and on our website.

Information we process

• You provide: trip names and details, traveler/family member names/ages, packing items, preferences, and any notes you enter.
• Automatically: basic app diagnostics (e.g., crashes, performance).
• Purchases: subscription status and product identifiers are provided by Apple to deliver entitlements. We do not receive your full payment details.
• Sync & sharing: if you enable iCloud sync, your app data is stored in your iCloud account (Apple's CloudKit). If you share a trip, invited users you select may access that shared data.

How we use information

• Provide core features (packing lists, weather-aware suggestions, voice read-outs).
• Sync your data across devices when you enable iCloud.
• Enable family collaboration when you invite others.
• Improve reliability and fix bugs (diagnostics).

Analytics (optional)

With your permission, we collect anonymous app usage analytics (via Google Firebase) to understand which features are used and improve stability. Analytics does not include your trip contents or payment details and is not used for advertising or tracking across other apps. You can turn analytics on or off at any time in Settings.

In some regions (e.g., EU/UK), analytics is off by default until you consent. If you turn analytics off, we stop sending analytics data and reset the app's analytics identifier.

Children & families

The app can be used by families, but an adult controls any sharing and subscriptions. We do not show ads or sell data. Child profiles exist only to tailor packing; they are not public.

Data sharing

• Service providers: Apple (in-app purchases, iCloud/CloudKit), analytics/crash reporting.
• We do not sell personal data. We share information only to provide the service or comply with law.

Your choices

• iCloud sync: you control whether to sync and what to share.
• Family sharing: managed in Settings → Family → Subscriptions (Apple).
• Analytics: toggle in Settings
• Delete data: delete trips/items in the app; you can also delete app data from iCloud in your Apple ID settings.

Data retention

We retain app data as long as you use the app. Shared data remains available to invitees until you revoke access.

Security

We use platform security features (iOS, iCloud) and do not store payment information.
